Is there a maximum amount of people allowed in one session?
Yes, I recommend a maximum of 8 during a one hour session. The reason for this is there are usually additional connections between people in bigger groups/families. Siblings, Cousins, grandparents, parents ect. All of which you will want individually captured and rightfully so. By including to many people into a 1 hour session you risk limiting the amount of time spent with each connection. This from experience makes the session feel more rushed which is evident in the images. To ensure that each person gets enough time to settle I would suggest 8 maximum. An alternative to bigger families however, is to purchase additional session times which can be added on to the same session in blocks of 15 minutes. This allows you more time to make sure everyone has the pictures they hope for and to ensure the experience is calm and enjoyable.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm Portsmouth based in UK and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story further afield, it may require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. But no worries, I always try to find the cheapest way to come. Any location within 15 miles is free and included in the session fee. There is a small charge for miles past this point.
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 4 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favourites, and also order prints through my online store which get delivered straight to your home.
How many pictures will we receive?
For each package you will notice I only promise a minimum set amount of images. This means you will never have any less than this in a session but you 'may' receive more. This then gives you the option to upgrade and a choice between images to choose from. Due to reasons that are sometimes beyond control - Weather, light, circumstances involving location or the engagement/ cooperation of those included within session.. It's impossible to give a specific number of shots and each clients galleries will differ as a result. I always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why I will choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story.
What happens if our session is cancelled due to weather?
A shoot is never cancelled, only postponed. It is worth noting that I do not offer refunds for shoots due to weather. As this is something far beyond my control. You do however get full reassurance that you will obtain a voucher of the value or the offer will be honoured for you to reschedule to a date of convenience. If there aren't any said dates you have to mind at the time then you can have a gift voucher valid for 12 months from the date of reschedule which you're welcome to use at a later date or even gift to someone else. When you book you are agreeing to these terms.
Are we able to have an outfit change during our session?
Absolutely! I encourage people to make the most of their session. This could be by adding props, picking a location where there are several elements/scenes or changing outfits. An hour doesn't feel particularly long however, you will be amazed how with the right direction we can work magic and get a real variety of beautiful images for you to cherish.
