Studio sessions are a way to explore the depths of a person.

When you create an environment that feels calm, safe, welcoming, warm its amazing what about an individual shines through and is released.

When you remove the external masks that many of us wear throughout our day to day, what we are left with is everything we are known and loved for. How we make people feel.

We are seen.

As adults it feels like an Impossible task to be authentic. But what about our children. At such a young age they develop those same habits of hiding away the things about them that we love the most. The masks go on and soon enough we forget who lives under it. Those sweet dimples, the nose scrunch, the missing front teeth.. the first two teeth, the "need to grow into my teeth". The sass, the shy, the vulnerable, the inquisitive, the independent, the dependant, the loving, the funny, the silly, the mischievous, the tummy rolls, the freckly nose. The head, the toes. When It comes to our children we want as many pictures of them without the mask on as we possibly can. So if they forget who they are. We can remind them.

Them. Just them. No more. No less. They are enough.
